Small grinding force, low grinding temperature: diamond grinding grain hardness and wear resistance is very high, grinding grain can keep sharp for a long time, easy to cut into the workpiece.When using resin bonded diamond grinding wheel to grind hard alloy, grinding force is only 1/4~1/5 of that of ordinary grinding wheel.The thermal conductivity of diamond is very high, 17.5 times that of silicon carbide.For example, carbide is ground with silicon carbide grinding wheel with cutting depth of 0.02 mm and grinding temperature up to 1 000 °C~1 200 °C. Diamond grinding wheel with resin binder is used for grinding. Under the same conditions, the grinding temperature in the grinding zone is only 400 C.
